At the Zenith
For over two decades, Raj Saraf has kept the domestic computing flag flying high, enabling Zenith to reach the zenith in several spheres of the Indian IT industry. He was the first to launch home PC for Indian consumers, first to introduce notebooks and LAN, first to bring Novell Netware commercially, first to launch Pentium-based multimedia PC and the first Indian company to obtain Novell Lab Certificates for its servers. One reason that Zenith has prospered since its inception in 1980 was Saraf's good understanding of government regulations and its impact on trade, and an insatiable thirst for business knowledge. The passing years have not in anyway dampened his zest to make Zenith the number 1 PC company in the face of MNC challenges.
