While scoring low on the HR parameters (#19), the company witnessed a fall on the employee satisfaction parameters (#10), where it had fared well in last year's survey. Salary continued to be an issue of dissatisfaction for the employees (#16) though, surprisingly, Sasken redeemed itself at figure at #7 on the appraisals front. Naturally, salary and compensation featured as the top-most reason, with 66% citing it as the reason for leaving.

On the positive side, Sasken scored well with the employees in areas like flexibility of office hours, work climate and organizational culture, and the technology areas. Also, it seemed to enjoy a better image among its internal employees than it did in the overall industry as the dream company. While ranking #4 as the preferred employer, its position fell to #10 as the dream company. Certainly, the time for Sasken to re-visit its HR policies.
