Technologies rank #15 and #16 on HR and employee scores respectively. Image,
culture, salary and appraisal were some of the areas where the company did not
fare very well, with below #10 ranking in all these parameters. In fact,
according to 60.4% of its employees, salary would be a reason for moving over.
For another 30.8%, it would be an overseas opportunity.
The going was relatively better for when it came to parameters like job
content (#7), training (#7) and people (#6). In overall satisfaction it fared
moderately at #9. But NIIT Technologies has its work cut out: it emerged as the
least preferred employer and also the least sought after dream company among the
list of Top 20 best employers. In addition, it also ranked a distant #16 when it
came to the employees feeling pride in working for the company. The company will
have to find better ways at employee engagement.
