MphasiS was one of the few Indian companies to have successfully integrated its IT services with BPO offerings-the culmination was the re-branding of its BPO arm MsourcE as MphasiS BPO. The company acquired Princeton Consulting for $14 mn and Eldorado Computing for $16.5 mn. It even forayed into domestic BPO with a Rs 250 crore contract from SBI. However, what marred a perfectly good year was the international bad press over a few of its Pune center employees siphoning off funds from accounts of Citibank, one of its largest clients.
