Formed in 2003-04 following the merger of Tracmail, Webhelp and Spheronomics, it had an eventful FY 2004-05. First, it sold off Webhelp to Brigade-the aim ostensibly was to get rid off tech support and focus only on retail and collection verticals. This enabled the company to move out of Hyderabad and consolidate its operations in the Greater Mumbai area, involving setting up a center in Navi Mumbai; other expansion plans included a nearshore center in Montreal. It received $5 mn from a US financial firm to support this expansion.
