In the banking space, Basel II was a key focus area for the BI market leader, SAS. While it added over a dozen customer accounts from banking vertical, it signed 100th Basel II account. Among major customer accounts added include UTI, HDFC, and Centurian Bank of Punjab. The contribution to SASs revenues from banking was up by over 45% from last year. Further, while pharmaceutical, manufacturing, telecom added up to about 25% to the companys revenues, the ITeS gave about the 25%.
