The company transformed itself to become an integrated content management solutions provider

The year 2005-06 was an active one for US-based Techbooks, setting the pace for a complete re-branding of the company into a fully integrated content solutions provider. It also saw the company change its logo, and redefine strategies. Techbooks made three new appointments at the top management: Gurvinder Batra as chief technologist, Devashish Ghosh as executive VP, Global Operations, and Roger Rose as EVP, Sales, directly reporting to president and CEO Ranjit Singh.

During the fiscal, Techbooks added 50 customers, of which, some were high potential clients leveraging all company offers-content technology services, e-learning services, data conversion and desktop publishing. It also bagged a contract from Blackwell Publishing for digitizing their journals, as part of the publisher's Journal Backfile Digitization Program.

  • Completed acquisition of Pune-based Maximize Learning, an e-learning solutions company
