  • 1The category of servers includes x-86 and non x-86 servers. Non x-86 servers have been segmented into high-end and medium. The volume severs includes low-end x-86 and non x-86. x-86 servers are shipped with Windows NT, Novell NetWare, Linux or SCO Unix network operating systems.

  • 2Desktop PCs include desktops and network clients.

  • 3Only the value of monitors that are sold as standalone units have been taken, to avoid double count.

  • 5The networking industry includes network interface cards, hubs, routers, switches, modems, multiplexers, structured cabling and RAS.

Also, to make fair comparison, estimated sales figures of some vertical applications not included last year have been added to the last years overall package software figures.

  • 7Domestic services have been reclassified. So the comparison with the last year has been done only on the overall figure.

  • 8We have taken only the voice-based domestic BPO this year. To make comparison with last year, we have removed the noon-voice services revenue from last years figures.
