Infotech Enterprises climbed four rungs to #25 this year thanks to an impressive performance. Making some acquisitions during the year, the company improved its revenues by 72% to Rs 58.21. Net profit jumped by 67% to Rs 17.23 crore and Infotech is ranked at #16 in sales growth and #28 in profit growth. Its gross block grew by 102% to Rs 44.19 crore, giving it the #23 rank in gross block and #11 in gross block growth. Infotech is a leading player in CAD/GIS services and is engaged in the development of GIS mapping products. Among the acquisitions were Cartographic Sciences, a subsidiary of US-based Analytical Surveys Inc, UK-based Dataview Solutions, Germany-based Advance Graphic Software and European firm MapCentric.
