Established in 1998, SAP Labs India, the largest development center for SAP, does 40% of the development-related manufacturing and distribution work. The Bangalore facility does the localization of all SAP applications for the APAC region. The company is planning to set up a new business intelligence software competence unit with a start-up team of 90 by the end of 2003. The company had 549 people on March 31, 2003 and estimated revenues of Rs 82.35 crore.
