Blue Star set up a development center in Bangalore with an investment of Rs 5 crore. The company focussed on five main lines of business—global R&D, system integration practice, business applications practice, BFSI and consulting services practice. It won a project contract of a software development order worth Rs 22 crore from York International. The company formed business relationships and technology tieups with HP and Juniper Networks, among others.
