141| Prime Focus
The company maintained its strong foothold in Bollywood with VFX for films
like Sawaariya, Race, Chak De India, and Sivaji. The acquisition of VTR Plc and
Clear Productions in 2006, and the completion of its first international project
gave it confidence to aggressively explore the global market. This year, it
acquired Frantic and Post Logic in the US. It tied up with Warner Brothers
Motion Picture Imaging to work with the latter, globally. In India, the company
bought the post-production business of UTV Software Communications.
