Government, BFSI, manufacturing, and BPO sectors accounted for more than two-thirds of Secure Synergys revenues in FY 08. Network security services grew nearly 40%, with revenues jumping to Rs 22 crore. Telcos and SMBs were responsible for this. APSIS transformed into a product company during FY 2008. It started its own brand of products for networking and cabling under the brand name Ambernet. It signed an agreement with the Germany-based IC Intracom for distribution of Manhattan PCs and Intellinet networking products in India. ICICI Prudential, Cholamandalam, Jindal Steels, and Satyam were some major customer wins. With regional distributors across India, the company planned to focus on B-class cities in India as part of its brand building exercise.
