Post the Xansa acquisition, Steria India is looking to expand and re-brand its
Indian operations. The acquisition will provide Steria access to Xansas
operations base in India, and also the expertise in public services and
financial services sectors. Its NHS Shared Business Services, the JV between the
Department of Health and Xansa, a Steria company, was recognised as a key
success for the public sector by the National Audit Office. Mukesh Aghi was
appointed as the chairman and CEO to lead the new entity in India.

multi-year IT offshoring agreement with ArcelorMittal for its Western European

TPV sold 15 lakh monitors in FY 08; while the bulk of this was part of its ODM
business, the company also managed to resell 2.8 lakh AOC branded monitors. It
suffered in sales against its more established competitors, particularly in the

Savex saw a boost in revenues from its HP (Compaq Presario) range of notebooks.
It also added HPs commercial line of products to its portfolio. Its Samsung
business saw exponential growth especially since it began nationwide
distribution for the brand and also due to the continuing growth in the TFT-LCD
monitor market. Savex expanded its presence in the East and expects to derive
14-15% of overall revenue this fiscal from the region. The storage segment grew
by 40-50% while LFRs contributed 3-4% to Savexs overall revenue.
