InfoTech Enterprises is an India-based IT consulting, services, and business
process outsourcing company. The company offers services across a range of
technologies to include utilities, transportation and government (UTG) and
manufacturing and industrial products (EMI). For the quarter ended September 30,
2007, Infotechs revenue stood at Rs 161.08 crore compared to Rs 131.28 crore
for the same quarter the previous year, a y-o-y growth of 22.69%. Similarly, the
net profit stood at Rs 25.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2007
compared to Rs 20.25 crore for the same quarter the previous year, an increase
of 24.74% on y-o-y terms.
During the quarter, Infotech picked up a majority stake in
Hyderabad-based Geospatial Integrated Solution. Geospatial will give the company
a reach over the growing Asia and Middle East markets. Similarly, Infotech
launched a dedicated facility in Survey of India, Uppal Hyderabad. The company
will be executing the contracts awarded by Survey of India for mapping Ahmedabad
and Chennai in this facility. Infotech Enterprises America, a subsidiary of
Infotech, has formed a strategic alliance partnership with Continental
DataGraphics (CDG), a subsidiary of the Boeing Company, for global geospatial
and engineering consulting and professional services. The company and Hindustan
Aeronautics (HAL) formed a 50:50 JV to offer world-class engineering design
services for the aerospace sector. The JV would be an independent business
entity, mainly focusing on aero-engines, technical publications and anticipated
work from various OEMs under the offset programs.

The company inaugurated its fourth facility in the India global
technology center at Electronic City, Bangalore. The new five-storied facility,
built on a two-acre plot at a cost of Rs 40 crore, will facilitate over 1,500
workstations and will enable the company to integrate its other development
centers. The new facility would host all Infotechs engineering design
services, predominantly, aerospace, avionics and rail. Shares of Infotech
