Lexmark to Restart India Operations
USA based Lexmark International is all set to restart its India operations, which is speculated to be in the first week of June, 2009. The India operations will be headed by Kumar P Ranjan in the capacity of country manager, solutions and sevices.The company had earlier closed down its operations in early 2007 and this will mark the companys second stint in India. Since its separation from IBM in 1991, Lexmarks product line has expanded to include laser printers, inkjet printers and multifunctional devices, as well as associated supplies and services.

LG India Launches Bluetooth-friendly TV
LG Electronics India (LGEIL) has launched Scarlet 2.0 series of LCD televisions in the country. In addition to slimmer design measuring at 39.7 mm, the new Scarlet comes with Bluetooth Compatibility which gives the viewer an opportunity to explore with the chic gadget. So, with this, one can listen to TV with wireless headset, or enjoy viewing his mobile phone photos and MP3 songs on TV.

iPhone Now in 22 Carat Gold
The shiny new 22 carat solid gold iPhone 3G, Gold striker, has been unveiled in the global market. The revolutionary iPhone also has the Apple logo on it made out of 53 WS1 diamonds.The phone is priced at a whopping Rs 16,92915.

Nortel Opens GNOC Center in Bengaluru, India
Nortel has opened a new Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) in Bengaluru, India to help remotely manage and support communications networks for enterprise and carrier customers across Asia, Europe and the America. This is Nortels fifth Network Operations Center opened around the world. Nortels other NOCs are located in North America, Europe, China and India in the city of Gurgaon.

Honeywell Sets up Center in Bengaluru
Honeywell has inaugurated a new $50 mn research, development and engineering facility at Orion, in Bengaluru. It is Honeywells second R&D center in the city. The new facility will accommodate 3,000 people and features laboratory facilities, simulators and a training center.

Nimbuzz Opens India Office
Nimbuzz, a mobile social instant messaging and VoIP provider, has announced the formal opening of its India office in New Delhi, along with the launch of the Nimbuzz India Blog. Nimbuzz already has a global tie-up in place with Spice Mobiles and Tata Indicom to be available to its subscribers.
