Microsoft, Aspect Partners
Microsoft and Aspect Software have announced a multi-year strategic alliance
to help deliver unified communications (UC) to contact centers around the world.
Aspect will design its unified IP contact center solution to interoperate with
Microsofts platform for software-powered voice and UC.
Deccan, Amadeus Partners
Amadeus has announced that Deccan will now be able to market and sell all
its flights on the Amadeus system. Travel agents will have access to all Deccan
availability and fare classes.
Virtusa Inks MoU with SEC
Virtusa has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Siddhartha
Engineering College (SEC), Vijayawada, to provide certification and multi-skill
programs for students and help the college align its curriculum with IT trends.
Citrix Partners MTECH
Citrix Systems has appointed a new distributor, M-Virtual Technology India (MTECH)
to grow its Application Network Group (ANG) business in India. According to the
agreement, MTECH will provide sales and support value additions and solutions
across offices at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai.
Yahoo, CRL to Collaborate
Yahoo! and Computational Research Laboratories (CRL), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Tata Sons, have announced an agreement to jointly support cloud
computing research. As part of the agreement, CRL will make available to
researchers one of the worlds top five supercomputers.
India is one of the fastest growing regions for Citrix. In 2007, we gained
600 new customers and recorded 47 per cent year-on-year growth in India, said
