Nortel Bags BSNL Deal
Nortel has won a deal, worth $100 mn, with BSNL to support its southern GSM
network expansion in the country. With this, BSNL can build on and maximize its
existing network investment and rapidly extend mobile services to new
subscribers. Nortels deployment of the BSNL network expansion is already
underway and would be completed by the end of 2008.
Servions CIM Blueprint
Servion Global Solutions, a specialist in the customer interaction management (CIM)
space, has announced the roll out of the CIM Blueprint at Sri Lanka Telecom. The
CIM Blueprint, a consulting service offering from Servion, is designed to
enhance contact center performance, at the same time deliver a distinctively
pleasant experience to customers at each contact with the organization.
Tech Mahindra, BT in Deal
Tech Mahindra has signed a five-year deal, valued in excess of $350 mn, to
provide BT with Application Maintenance and Support Services for their Business
Critical BSS and OSS Applications and Platforms. These services will be
delivered from Tech Mahindras state-of-the-art Centers of Excellence (CoE) at
facilities in India and a new facility being set up in the UK to monitor BTs
core business processes.
CDI Bags $15.7 mn Deal
Compact Disc India (CDI), an integrated media and entertainment company, has
secured film animation outsourcing contract worth $15.7 mn. This deal is to
animate a true love story titled Eternal Love. This animation feature film would
