Sandisk Inks HCL Deal
SanDisk India announced a partnership with HCL Infosystems whereby the latter would become distributors for SanDisks wide range of mobile phone memory cards in the Indian market. SanDisks offering for mobile phones includes mobile memory cards [microSD (HC) and M2] with capacities ranging from 2 Gb to 16 Gb and also MobileMate USB readers (SDHC compatible) which provides users with a complete and versatile solution for transferring music, video, photos and other files between their mobile memory cards and computers.

People.com to Add Celebrity Spice in Blinkx
Blinkx, the largest video search engine, announced a content partnership with People.com, a celebrity news site. The terms of the agreement stated that Blinkx has added People.coms original video programming to its ever-expanding index. People.com content is engaging, up-to-the-minute and 95% original, distinguishing itself from the weekly issue of People Magazine, it said. The site is the 24x7 source for breaking news, photos, celebrity style, must-see video and more.

Bharti Teletech, Transcend Tie-up
Bharti Teletech, Indias leading manufacturer and distributor of telecom and allied products, said that it has entered into a strategic alliance with Transcend Information, a leading global player in the memory accessories business. Under the alliance, Bharti Teletech will sell and distribute the entire portfolio of Transcend products in India. It will distribute the Transcend range of Memory Flash Cards in the first phase. In the second phase, the company will start distributing other products from Transcend such as USB pen drives, MP3 players, digital photo frames, portable HDD and multimedia products and memory modules.

3i, Trayport Collaborate
3i Infotech, an information technology company, announced that it is working with Trayport, a GFI Group company and provider of multi-asset class electronic trading solutions, to integrate its risk management solutions into Trayports GlobalVision electronic trading platform. This collaboration will facilitate integration between 3i Infotechs AWACS (Advanced Warning and Control System) specialist risk management and surveillance solution and Trayports GlobalVision.
