New Products from TAKE
TAKE Solutions in collaboration with BaseCon A/S, is launching a new range of Pharmacovigilance solutions for the Asia Pacific pharmaceutical companies. The association will lead to broadening of TAKEs current offerings in the life sciences spectrum in the region. Pharmacovigilance is gaining traction among doctors and scientists as it helps minimizing the adverse drug reactions that can be caused and gives new information about hazards associated with medicines.

HCL Launches New Workstations
HCL Infosystems has unveiled its Infiniti Challenger Series range of workstations based on Intel Core i7 Quad core processor that applies processing power dynamically when needed most. A four-core, eight-thread design with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology and with more than double the memory bandwidth, it ensures faster memory access and incredible performance. Launched at a price of Rs 55,000 onwards, HCL Infiniti Challenger Series workstations will be available from mid December 2008.

HDTV Network Camera by Axis
Axis Communications has introduced network camera with true HDTV performance in compliance with the SMPTE standard in resolution, color representation and frame rate. The AXIS Q1755 Network Camera is ideal for high security areas like airports, passport controls and casinos. IT delivers HDTV 1080i or 720 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio and supports both H.264 and Motion JPEG. It has day and night functionality and progressive output, 10x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom paired with auto focus.

Microsoft Launches SBS and EBS 2008
Microsoft India has announced the availability of Windows Small Business Server 2008 (SBS 2008) and Windows Essential Business Server 2008 (EBS 2008) for small business. EBS 2008 is Microsofts first-ever offering tailored to midsized businesses. Windows Essential Server Solutions (WESS) are all-in-one enterprise server solutions designed and priced for the SMB customers. It also comes as a significant business opportunity to the 6000 strong, active partner ecosystem.

ZTE Launches ZXA10 C300
ZTE has recently rolled out the worlds first Next Generation PON equipment, the ZXA10 C300 multi service access platform. The ZXA10 C300 is said to be a green, converged, future-proof, high capacity, multi service access platform. It is the worlds first unified platform supporting GPON, EPON and P2P as well as the emerging next generation IEEE 10G-EPON and FSAN/ITU-T NG-PON in a single shelf.

New Netgear Solutions for SMBs
Netgear has launched a ReadyNAS , a six-bay desktop network with an attached storage solution for small-and medium-sized businesses. The ReadyNAS Pro product line is available in storage capacities of 1.5TB (RNDP6350),3TB(RNDP6310), and 6TB (RNDP6610). It provides up to 6TB of network-attached storage, enabling users across the LAN or WAN to store, back up and share digital data from a combination of Windows, Macintosh and Linux platforms.

Sony Launches Made-for-iPod Head Units

Sony has launched Xplōd CDX-GT45IP CD receiver supporting a wide range of auxiliary devices include made-for-iPod hardwired dedicated input cable that charges the device and provides full menu control for most iPod models. All iPod track data is displayed on the head units LCD display, while the player is charged. It also provides a front panel auxiliary input for the connection of a MP3, mini-disc or cassette player.

Dell Launches Studio XPS Desktop

Dell has unveiled its new Studio XPS desktop, a premium PC that features the new ultra fast Intel Core i7 processor. The Studio XPS desktop starts at Rs 86,400 with 24 Flat Panel and 512MB ATI Radeon HD4580 Graphics Card and can be customized with a variety of complementary high-performance components. With a Core i7 processor it can deliver up to 44% faster video editing and encoding. It is also configured with an optional TV tuner.

Lenovos ThinkCentre A62

Lenovo has launched ThinkCentre A62 in the Indian market, a cost-effective, environmentally-responsible and manageable desktop PC primarily targeted for the SMB customers. The ThinkCentre A62 is equipped with unique features that increase user productivity and simplify fleet software-image creation, deployment and maintenance. Dash 1.1, a highly touted remote management system and Express Repair, which allows the system to rapidly fix many system corruptions, are its key features.

New Camcorder from Genius
Genius has introduced its latest high definition 5.0 mega pixel camcorder, G-Shot HD55. The 5 mega pixel CMOS camcorder is a high definition video camera and records at 30 fps/1280 x 720 pixels and uses high-compression H.264 format. It has a 3.0 inch TFT LCD color display, 2X digital zoom, Li-ion battery and 8 mega pixel resolution. It also supports a high capacity SD up to 4GB and has LED light for dark environments.

WD Launches ShareSpace
WD has introduced its new ShareSpace high-speed network storage systems that provide cost-effective, centralized storage for small office and home networks. WD ShareSpace represents WDs first entry into the small-office network storage market, where it plans to bring to a new class of users the ease-of-use. The 4-bay storage systems with Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) interface provide up to 4 TB of storage capacity and multiple RAID configurations.

New Linksys Wireless Router
Cisco has launched the Linksys by Cisco WRT110 RangePlus Wireless Router, an entry level wireless-N router. The three-in-one device combines functionalities of a Wireless Access Point, built in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch and Router to enable the freedom of sharing high-speed cable or DSL Internet access anywhere at home through a single network. The new WRT110 features an internal antenna technology which integrates the antenna into the router body.

Zinnov Launches FWS Modeler
Zinnov has recently launched its proprietary Web-based Flexible Work Solutions (FWS) Modeler that provides its subscribers the ability to continuously monitor and model the cost/benefit analysis of various types of Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) across multiple scenarios. The modeler is built on intelligent algorithms that combine both Client Specific Data and FWA Research conducted by Zinnov. It helps companies conduct due diligence on FWA, build a strong business case on it.

Saharas Mp4 Player

Sahara Computers has launched its new 7-in-1 multi media Mp4 player. The portable Mp4 has 2 Mega Pixel camera,FM radio, photo viewer, NES games and calendar, E-book function, text file reader and language translator. It has a built-in Loudspeaker and microphone and 2.5 LCD. It has an embedded equalizer and supports TV-output and is compatible with different sound formats.
