BMC, NetApp Partnership
BMC software and NetApp announced a new strategic partnership that delivers server, network and storage provisioning and management for cloud environments. This new strategic partnership gives mutual BMC and NetApp customers the benefit of a fully automated end-to-end cloud infrastructure beginning with the initial service request to provisioning, deployment, management and decommissioning. Automating these processes enables customers to save time and money, reduces compliance risk and helps it organizations stay focused on meeting the needs of the business.

Aricent Collaborates with Caviu
Aricent has announced that it has collaborated with Cavium Networks, to provide a long term evolution (LTE) evolved packet core (EPC) development collaboration that enables intelligent processing for networking, wireless, storage, and video applications. Through this collaboration, the companies would offer pre-optimized, performance-enhanced and highly-scalable EPC Serving Gateway (SGW), PDN Gateway (PGW) and Mobility Management Entity (MME) ready-to-use software frameworks for Caviums OCTEON Multi-core MIPS64 processor family.

Tata Comm Ties up with AccessKenya
Tata Communications and AccessKenya Group have signed a partnership agreement to establish a tier-1 Internet point-of-presence (PoP) for Tata Communications in Nairobi, Kenya. By building a P-o-P in Kenya, Tata Communications would be able to offer Internet and other service providers access to one of the most dynamically routed and high performance global IP networks for service delivery. The IP P-o-P is configured to automatically offer redundant paths for Internet traffic going towards Europe and South Africa as well as to Asia and India over the SEACOM cable system.
