Mahindra Satyam Ties up with Vision Solutions
Mahindra Satyam has announced a global alliance partnership with Vision Solutions, a provider of IBM Power high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR) and transformation solutions. This alliance would strengthen Mahindra Satyams HA/DR offerings. Vision Solutions and Mahindra Satyam have already started delineating a joint go-to-market plan to tap into the multi-million dollar HA/DR market.

NEC Collaborates with KPIT
NEC Electronics and KPIT Cummins have announced the availability of an AUTOSAR 3.0-compatible software package for various hardware platforms. This software package enables easy design of application software without the need for new developments. The package includes AUTOSAR Basic software and a comprehensive tool chain and was developed under close cooperation between the two companies.

Tata Comm Partners with Mahindra SSG
Mahindra Special Services Group (MSSG) and Tata Communications have signed a major security services agreement to leverage each others strengths to offer a complete suite of security services to Indian enterprises. This would enable security of their information assets and data. The partnership will deliver state-of-the-art process consultancy as well as security services to the customers. Customers can now choose to implement services such as firewall management through to complex services such as mDDoS D&M.

HP, UNESCO Expand Brain Gain Initiative
HP and UNESCO have announced the expansion of the Brain Gain Initiative from five universities in the pilot phase to fifteen additional higher education institutions throughout the Middle East and Africa. The project enables these universities to collaborate with experts around the world in innovative education and research projects with the help of advanced grid and cloud computing.

Airtel, Cisco Form Alliance
Bharti Airtel and Cisco have formed a strategic business alliance to help drive growth for Indian enterprises. The alliance will combine their strengths and expertise to work together to create and sell a set of products and services including managed data services, hosted unified communications, etc.
