Mukul Agrawal has been appointed country manager of Unisys India, effective
November 2005. He was the managing director of Unisys Global Services India.
Unisys said in a statement that this additional responsibility as a country
manager is the result of its strategy aimed to drive growth in the Indian market
and further demonstrate its commitment to its Indian operations. "The
domestic IT market in India is presently undergoing tremendous change and many
new business opportunities are emerging," said Scott Whyman, vice president
and general manager, Unisys Asia South.
Agrawal joined Unisys Global Services India in April 2004 as
the managing director. Prior to Unisys, he has held a number of key management
positions at Zensar Technologies, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and Tata Unisys. He
graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, and is
an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
