Datacraft's Distinction
Cisco has announced Datacraft India as its first Master
Specialized Unified Communications (UC) Partner in the Apac region. With this
appointment, Datacraft becomes the fifth partner worldwide to have been awarded
this highest level of certification on UC.

CyberMedia Growing
CyberMedia India, Asia's largest specialty media house, has
recorded a turnover of Rs 97 crore for the financial year ended March 31,
2007. The company's revenues
showed a strong growth of 20.5% over the previous
fiscal. For the fiscal 2006-07, the net profit increased 10.7% to Rs 6.66
crore from Rs 6.02 crore. The net profit margin, however, declined to 6.9%
from 7.5% due to increase in financial charges. The company's publishing
business showed a growth of 17.7%, Internet business increased 24.5%, and
events business was up by 30.9%. The net profit for the fourth quarter was
at Rs 1.61 crore, up by 31.1% from Rs 1.23 crore posted during the fourth
quarter of 2006.

Infosys Technologies from India bags the 'Innovator of the
Year' award. Network Appliance honored the winners of the 2006 NetApp Innovation
Awards at an awards ceremony held recently at the Clos LaChance winery at

ATL's Consolidated Audited Results
Accel Transmatic (ATL) has announced its consolidated audited
results for the financial year ending March 31, 2007. For the financial year
ended March 31, 2007, ATL has posted a net turnover of Rs 35.03 crore and profit
before tax of Rs 3.13 crores up from Rs 29.35 crore and Rs 2.57 crores
respectively for the previous year.
Sterlite Granted Optical Fiber Patent in the US
Sterlite Optical Technologies, India's only global provider
and integrated manufacturer of optical fiber, has announced that it has been
granted a patent by the United States Patent & Trademark Office for invention of
its Sterlite DOF-LITE (LEA) single mode optical fiber. Product Patent US
7,209,620,B2 for ' Dispersion optimized fiber having higher spot area ' was
granted in April 2007 and is valid up to Year 2024.
Moser Baer Launches $150 mn FCCBs
Moser Baer India, a leading optical media manufacturer, has
announced that it has priced a Foreign Currency Convertible Bond (FCCB) of a
principal amount of $150 mn, with tenure of five years from their allotment. The
issue received a good response and was over subscribed by 2.25 times the issue
size.

3i Infotech has announced that its anti-money laundering
(AML) and fraud detection software-AMLOCK-has been adjudged the 'Best Software
