NIIT Foraying Into Malaysia
NIIT has partnered with the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of Malaysia to foster skilled IT manpower in the country. As part of the understanding, NIIT will implement its NIIT Inside model in Arumugam Pillai Industrial Training Institute (APITI), under the aegis Govt of Malaysia.

Infosys-Royal Philips Deal
Infosys Technologies has announced that it has signed a multi-million dollar outsourcing contract with Royal Philips Electronics of the Netherlands. As part of the agreement, Philips will enter into a multi-year contract with Infosys BPO to provide finance & accounting services and the processing of purchasing orders.

Newgens Soln for Karnataka Bank
Newgen Software Technologies has announced that it has successfully implemented three processes for trade finance at Karnataka Bank. Newgens solution includes customer master, credit report master, and preshipment PC Release using its BPMOmniFlow, OmniDocs and OmniScan.

F-Secures Deal with SingNet
F-Secure has announced a partnership with SingNet. F-Secure is a leader in Europe and North America, and the partnership with SingNet is another milestone in establishing F-Secure as the leader within the service provider community in Asia. SingNet is offering its customers a comprehensive IT security suite of value added services in partnership with F-Secure.

Royal Gets Help from Oracle and Infosys
Royal Group has lowered operational costs by leveraging the Oracle E-Business Suite and business consulting and process re-engineering recommendations provided by Infosys Technologies. Together, Infosys and Oracle helped Royal Group streamline its business processes and standardize the infrastructure of eleven highly diverse companies.

Bombardier Metro Cars for DMRC
Bombardier Transportation has announced that it has won an order for 340 BOMBARDIER MOVIA metro cars from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). The contract is valued at approximately $590 mn. Deliveries of the trains are scheduled to begin in the last quarter of 2008 with completion in 2010.

Perot Inks Deal with YRC
Perot Systems Corporation has announced that Fortune 500 company, YRC Worldwide has selected Perot Systems to support development of future business systems for the companys multiple brands. The business relationship includes supporting and modernizing current applications across divisions of YRC Worldwide.
