Apar Uses HP Solution
Apar Industries has selected HPs solutions to consolidate and manage data effectively. Apar offers value added products and services in power transmission conductors and petroleum specialties. More than 80% of Apars data was stored in multiple databases. Apar deployed SAP ERP 6.0 on HPs integrity servers with HP-UX 11i V2 platform along with HP StorageWorks EVA4000 SAN Storage to collate them.

Anti-laundering Solution
3i Infotech announced that Bank of India has signed an agreement to implement AMLOCK, 3i Infotechs award winning Anti Money Laundering software. As part of this agreement, 3i Infotech will undertake complete system integration, procurement, and installation of hardware including storage, database, middleware, and report writer.

Nokia-Qualcomm Deal
Nokia and Qualcomm announced their new agreement covering various standards including GSM, EDGE, CDMA, WCDMA, HSDPA, OFDM, WiMAX, LTE, and other technologies. Under the terms of the new 15-year agreement, Nokia has been granted a license under all Qualcomms patents for use in Nokia mobile devices and Nokia Siemens Networks infrastructure equipments.

Zensar Signs Up with Kotak
Zensar Technologies announced a centralized customer relationship management centre for Kotak Mahindra Bank. The bank has decided to invest in building a specialized centre for CRM with Zensar for its credit card business. The centre located at Zensars Pune campus would cater to activities like customer acquisition, customer service, etc.

IBMs Solution for Max
IT service provider IBM and Max New York Life Insurance announced the launch of an integrated solution for policy insurance and administration for Max Vijay, a new business initiative by Max New York Life. IBM will provide services to various functions of Max Vijay, including insurance policy system administration, policy setup, new business processing, and customer care.

Nucleuss Intl Deal
Nucleus Software announced that it has secured a landmark deal with Prudential Vietnam Finance, an international financial service company based in Vietnam. According to the company this deal marks its entry into Vietnam, which in turn strengthens its position in South-east Asia. Prudential Finance chose Nucleus flagship productFinnOne suite.

Spencer Selects Wipro
Wipro Infotech announced that it has won a large IT outsourcing contract from Spencers Retail. Spencer has selected Wipro for delivering best in class infrastructure management services for a period of five years. As part of the scope, Wipro is responsible for providing IT infrastructure support for all the stores, distribution centers, and regional and zonal offices for Spencers.

HCL to Partner SP Jain
HCL Technologies has signed a MoU with SP Jain College, a global business school with international branches in Dubai and Singapore.HCL will partner with SP Jain to offer students customized programs that will aim at providing students knowledge on key concepts of leadership development, disruptive innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and research.
