Lenovo Unveils IdeaPad Y710
Lenovo launched the IdeaPad Y710 notebook PC in India, its first with a
17-inch monitor and a 1440x900 pixel resolution. It has ATI Radeon Mobility HD
2600 with 512MB of memory. Features like WLAN connectivity, Dolby Home Theatre
system, as well as an optional Blu-ray DVD reader ensure that the IdeaPad Y710
notebooks cater to the entertainment enthusiast.

Transcend Intros Faster Memory Modules
Transcend Information introduced its retail-packaged DDR3-1066 and DDR3-1333
240-pin DIMMs. DDR3 is the successor to DDR2 memory, and will soon become the
industry standard for PC memory modules. Compared to DDR2, it offers faster
transfer speeds and better bandwidth with an 8-bit as opposed to 4-bit pre-fetch
buffer, and is a perfect match for modern systems using dual or quad-core
processors.
Logitechs 4-Port USB Hub
Swiss firm Logitech launched Logitech 4-Port USB Hub and Logitech Premium
4-Port USB Hub for Notebooks. The Logitech 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub provides reliable,
high-speed connectivity with high-speed file transfer (up to 480 Mbps). The
4-Port USB 2.0 Hub is priced at Rs 895, while the Premium 4-Port USB Hub is
priced at Rs 1,495 and comes with a one-year replacement warranty.
