Aditya Birla Group's BPO, Transworks Information Services
has not managed to raise employee satisfaction levels as in the earlier survey.
The story looks unaltered even after management control of the BPO has gone into
the hands of the Aditya Birla Group.

Training was one parameter on which the BPO fared moderately.
Transworks has also tied up with Mumbai's Narsee Monjee Institute of
Management Studies and the Institute of Chartered & Financial Analysts of
India for better attrition management. Employees also express faith on the
leadership of the company.
A few HR initiatives taken in the last one year include 'We Care',
employee perception surveys, salary benchmarking studies, Family Day and rewards
and recognition to performers. However, these initiatives did not quite yield
very satisfactory results. Employees expressed dissatisfaction over the
appraisal system in the company. Company culture was also held in poor light
which in turn impacted the overall image of Transworks.
