Mad crowds. Unending queues. Counter to counter hopping. And a nightmare!
Thats what people had to undergo a decade ago while purchasing tickets from
any railway booking counter for long distance travelling. Not that things have
changed drastically in the last five years. But things have improved for sure.
One still has to wait in long queues. But they move faster and you need not hop
counters in case you need to purchase tickets for multiple locations. Also, you
can book tickets online, sitting at the comfort of your homes or offices. And in
case you are not net savvy, you can approach a nearby travel agent and reserve a
ticket online by paying a meagre service charge.
