TRAQR Launches GPS Tracking System
TRAQR GPS Tracking has launched its vehicle tracking and mobile asset protection
system in the market. TRAQR provides GPS tracking solutions for both individuals
and businesses. When the TRAQR tracking device is fitted to the vehicle, the
owner get more than just stolen vehicle recovery or thwarted theft attempts. He
gets control like never before. The TRAQR vehicle tracking device fitted in the
vehicle receives this information from a minimum of three satellites and uses
triangulation to calculate its exact locationlatitude, longitude and movement.
The device then sends this information over the GPRS network of the GSM service
provider to their Internet gateway and further over the Internet to the TRAQR
Application Server.
Nimbuzz Launches Free iPhone Applications
Nimbuzz has been launched in the Apple iPhone App Store. The free application
lets users call, chat and message for free, with their friends on virtually all
major instant messaging communities and social networks, including Skype, Yahoo!
Messenger, Facebook, MySpace, AIM, Windows Live Messenger, Google Talk, ICQ,
Jabber, and more. For the iPhone users, this will be the complete messaging
product available with landscape mode chat, IM buddy calling (including Yahoo!),
and regional social network support and it will be free of cost. Other key
updates include personal message allowing users to broadcast real-time status
updates to all contacts, presence information to see who is online and where,
and emotions for additional expression.
Cisco Launches Linksys Wireless Router
Cisco has announced the availability of Linksys by Cisco WRT110 RangePlus
Wireless Router, for an enhanced and extended wireless experience. The
three-in-one device combines functionalities of a Wireless Access Point, built
in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 switch and router to enable the freedom of sharing
high-speed cable or DSL Internet access anywhere at home, all through a single
network. The new sleek design features an internal antenna technology, which
integrates the antenna into the router body without compromising signal
coverage. With the Linksys by Cisco WRT110, home users can maximize Internet
capabilities at an extended compound at home, allowing a wireless freedom than
the Wireless-G connection.
IDBI Bank Partner Pay Mate for Mobile Payment
IDBI Bank has announced its strategic partnership with m-commerce player,
PayMate to enable mobile payments facility for its customers. The alliance will
enable IDBI Bank customers to use PayMates mobile payment service to pay their
regular utility bills. Customers will also be able to use their mobile phones to
pay for booking movie and flight tickets, restaurant bills, mobile recharge,
online purchase and retail shopping at over 13,000 merchants in India registered
with PayMate. According to Yogesh Agarwal, chairman and managing director, IDBI
