The Hyderabad-based IT-eS and software services company has moved up two places to #14. Infotech crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in revenues during fiscal 2003. The company reported revenues of Rs 122.31 crore, up 26% and a net profit of Rs 26.66 crore, up 4% over the previous year. Infotech is ranked #25 in sales, #21 in profit, #12 in sales growth and #22 in profit growth. The company’s gross block stood at Rs 78.95 crore, up 18% during the year whereas it’s ROCE was flat at 31%. It is ranked #22 in gross block size, #29 in growth in gross block and #9 in ROCE. Infotech commenced operations providing services in CAD/GIS conversion and gradually spread its wings to provide engineering services and executing software projects. The company receives an equal share of revenues from GIS conversion, engineering and software products. Considering its size, Infotech’s performance has been impressive in the current environment. Infotech has set up offices in Europe and the US, acquired companies in the UK and Germany, and strengthened its marketing and sales team.
