Earlier known as Fujitsu ICIM, Pune-based Zensar Technologies has moved up in the overall rankings to #22. A joint venture between Fujitsu Services UK and the RPG Group, Zensar Technologies’ performance on a standalone basis was mixed with revenues growing 38% to Rs 96.65 crore but net profit dipping 27% to Rs 8.16 crore. Zensar’s gross block grew 16% to Rs 46.30 crore. Zensar is ranked #29 in sales, #31 in profit, #5 in sales growth and #35 in profit growth. Zensar provides software services for maintenance, application development and migration in the areas of banking, finance, insurance, telecommunications, utilities and manufacturing. The 1,300-employee company has offices in the US, the UK, Germany, Finland, Middle East, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Japan and China. It operates dedicated offshore development centers (ODCs) for five global giants, namely Fujitsu, Cisco, P&O Nedlloyd, Sprint and Transco.
