“People are treated fairly irrespective of age, caste or religion”—this statement got the highest “strongly agree” score
All questions relating to fair treatment also got relatively high scores
Ignore salaries and appraisals, and the query with the lowest “strongly agree” rating is—“I have exciting growth opportunities in this company”
Two strong contenders for lowest ratings—“My opinion matters in this company”, and “I am satisfied with the quality of training provided”

Methodology Note: Medians were calculated for an overall assessment of the industry’s performance on each question and therefore each parameter. Based on this for instance, the industry as a whole got the highest scores on company culture and people and the lowest on salary and appraisal systems.

However, the key score to watch out for is the "most satisfied score". Basically it means that the strength of a specific company is judged by how many of its employees are most satisfied on any attribute – rather than on how the average for a company turns out. Reason—it is a measure of the intensity of employee engagement with the company.

As a result, all rankings of companies in the statements given below are based on "Most Satisfied" or "Strongly Agree" scores only.
