HCL Infosystems: Beating Attrition

HCL INFOSYSTEMS moved up in the survey driven by its improvement in the HR parameter ranks from #18 to #12, even as its employee parameter rankings fell marginally from #9 to #10.

During the year, almost all companies have seen attrition levels go up as the job market expanded with more openings available all over. Interestingly though, HCL Infosystems was one of the few companies where attrition levels actually went down a bit from 13% to 11% while retention improved significantly from 87% to 91%. Employee satisfaction on most parameters improved significantly though company culture remains an issue.
People in the company emerged as a strength with 86% of HCL Infosystems' employees saying their superiors gave them due recognition for work well down, while 83% said their colleagues help out when needed.

Despite a significant improvement in salary satisfaction, some issues remain-for instance only about half feel they
are being paid at par with industry standards or that they get paid enough for the work they do in the company.
