MsourcE, the BPO subsidiary of
MphasiS, nearly doubled its revenues in 2003-04. While BPO subsidiaries of other IT services companies still contributed in single digits to the overall revenues, MsourcE accounted for 32% of MphasiS revenues. The JV with Accenture enabled MsourcE to successfully leverage the former's domain expertise and industry contacts. Lastly, Msource was the first Indian company to start a full-fledged facility in Tijuana, Mexico during 2002-03 to serve the Spanish speaking population-a move that paid rich dividends during 2003-04.
