Sutherland Global Services, formerly called Sutherland Technologies executes jobs like process consulting, helpdesk, customer care and account management. The company had a good run during 2003-04. Significant developments during the year include the $30 million equity funding made by Oak Investment Partners. Majority of the investments will go infrastructure augmentation including investments on new centers and expanding the manpower. Meanwhile during the year Sutherland inaugurated its third facility, a 100,000 sq ft center in Chennai and announced that it will recruit aggressively in the ongoing year.
